Structural steel estimating means measuring the steel members and connections on the structural drawings, working out their weights, and pricing them. A fabricator or builder can then quote or budget the steel package.
We list every member and connection item by item. That makes it easier to check the takeoff against the drawings and to compare supplier and fabrication prices.
